 About the Position:

The Program Travel Coordinator will hold the primary responsibility of coordinating travel, accommodation, and other logistical personnel inquiries.

What You Will Do:

  • Making all necessary bookings & follow ups until getting confirmations
  • Finalizing files and preparing all the administrative paperwork to be given to travelers before each departure
  • Trouble shooting while groups are on the road: resolve problems & conflicts w/ providers
  • Making sure payments and refunds are taken care of (keeping the accounting up-to-date)
  • Doing research on new providers and negotiating best possible rates
  • Building good relationships with suppliers (hotels, restaurants, attractions, bus companies...)
  • Making sure the information is easily accessible by everyone (computer + paper file)

 What You Will Bring:

  As Program Travel Coordinator you must meet requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in travel, with a corporate travel program/TMC and/or managing meetings and events is necessary.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, accuracy, attention to details a must
  • Knowledge of event registration software such as Cvent /Clientbase /Wordspan / Sabre / Apollo a plus.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to focus in shared work environment & get high volume of work done
  • Be efficient under tight deadlines & high stress... as we are in a seasonal industry
  • Strong knowledge World Geography and culture
  • Computer literacy: Windows (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) + Internet research.
  • Must be able to type.
  • Thriving in multi-task, fast pace dynamic environment with good work ethic & team spirit
  • Candidate must be dependable, resourceful and flexible particularly in high season
  • Must exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Other duties may vary upon what needs to be done
